Guardian Remodeling Corp has been remodeling homes in this part of New York since 1980. Over the decades our work has spread across Putnam and Westchester, to the point where we now serve 41 towns and villages between the two counties.
The houses here are a mix of everything: lake cottages around Lake Mahopac, post-war capes and ranches, 1970s split-levels, big colonials in the Westchester suburbs, and newer homes on larger lots in northern Westchester. Each era comes with its own surprises behind the walls, and a lot of what we know comes from having opened up so many of them.
The family behind Guardian. Guardian is five brothers working alongside their father, who has spent his whole life in construction, from New York City buildings to ground-up and commercial work. The business has been family-run since 1980, and the same family still runs every job.
We run every job the same way: one company is responsible for the project from the first visit to the final walkthrough.

One company, accountable
Guardian manages the whole project: scheduling, ordering, trades, inspections and cleanup. You have one point of contact, and that contact answers for the result.
Licensed subcontractors, supervised
Specialty trades such as electrical and plumbing are handled by licensed subcontractors supervised by Guardian, working to our scope and our standards.
Permits handled
When work needs a permit, we prepare and file it with your town, village or city building department and schedule the inspections.
Written estimates
After a visit and measurements, you get a written estimate that spells out the scope, so you know what is included before work starts.
Warranty in writing
Our workmanship is covered for 1 year, and roof replacements carry a 10-year workmanship warranty.
