Whole-Home Remodeling in Armonk, NY
Westchester Whole-Home Remodeling Service Serving Armonk
Full-house renovations for Armonk properties, from kitchens and baths to layout changes, with North Castle board reviews, County Health questions and permits managed by Guardian.
Larger Houses, More Moving Parts
Armonk homes, in the Town of North Castle, often sit on wooded lots with private wells and septic systems. A whole-home renovation here can touch more than the house. Adding a bedroom can bring in the County Health Department, regrading or tree work can bring in the Conservation Board, and a new look can bring in the Architectural Review Board.
We map out which of those apply before design is finished, so the approvals don’t surprise anyone later.

Kitchens Built for Entertaining
This kitchen, with a quartz waterfall island and a built-in beverage fridge, is a Guardian project. In many Armonk renovations the kitchen and family room are opened up together and become the center of the house.
When a wall comes out, the beam goes on the sealed drawings, and we have several architects we can recommend depending on the project.

What We Bring to an Armonk Project
- One project manager from walkthrough to final inspection
- A written estimate broken out by trade
- Licensed electrical and plumbing subcontractors
- Phasing so part of the house stays usable
- Permits pulled and inspections met by our team
Living Through It
On a large Armonk house, we can often phase the work by wing or by floor, so the family keeps a bedroom, a bathroom and a basic kitchen setup while crews work elsewhere. Dust walls, protected floors and a cleaned-up site at the end of each day are part of how we run every job, not extras.

Armonk Whole-Home Remodeling FAQs
Will my renovation go to a North Castle board first?
It might. North Castle can refer projects to the Residential Project Review Committee, the Architectural Review Board, the Conservation Board, the Zoning Board or the Planning Board, and those approvals come before the building permit.
How long is plan review?
The Town’s guide sets a goal of two to four weeks for the first review and two to three weeks for each re-review.
We are adding a bedroom. Does the septic matter?
Yes. Septic systems are sized by bedroom count, and on septic or well properties the County Health Department may need to give a ‘no objection’ before the Town issues the permit.
Who does the electrical and plumbing?
North Castle requires Westchester County-licensed trades. Our licensed, insured subcontractors do that work under a Guardian project manager.
