Rooms We Remodel in Purchase Homes
Larger houses usually mean several baths, each with a different job to do.
Primary bath
Double vanity, large walk-in shower, freestanding tub and room for storage. Often paired with a closet redo.
Guest and kids' baths
Durable tile, tub-shower combinations and vanities that hold up to daily use.
Powder room
A small room where bold finishes work: dark paneling, statement mirrors and a pedestal or vessel sink.

Finishes That Fit the House
Purchase homes often have generous ceiling heights and trim, so the bath can carry more detail: fluted or paneled vanities, arched mirrors, brass or gold fixtures and stone-look porcelain on the walls.
The vanity in the photo is from a Guardian remodel: black fluted cabinets, gold faucets and arched mirrors. We’ll help you pick finishes that match the rest of your house rather than a trend. Samples are brought to the house so you can see them in your own light before anything is ordered.
Permits, Trades and Supervision
Harrison’s Building Department requires license and insurance documents on all permits, and we provide ours along with our subcontractors’. Plumbing, electrical and heated-floor or steam connections are done by licensed, insured subcontractors supervised by a Guardian project manager. Guardian has been remodeling since 1980.

Purchase Bathroom Remodeling FAQs
Do you remodel primary suites in Purchase?
Yes. Primary bath remodels with double vanities, large walk-in showers and freestanding tubs are the most common bathroom projects we’re asked about in Purchase, often together with a closet or dressing area.
Do bathroom permits in Purchase go to Harrison?
Yes. Purchase is part of the Town/Village of Harrison, and the Harrison Building Department at 1 Heineman Place handles permits. Licenses and insurance are required for every permit.
Can a steam shower or heated floor be added?
Often, yes. Both need electrical capacity and, for steam, a properly sealed enclosure and generator location. Our licensed electrician checks the panel before we commit to the design.
Can we stay in the house during the work?
Most families do. We seal off the work area, protect the floors along our path and keep the rest of the house usable. Your Guardian project manager sets the daily schedule with you.
What warranty is included?
One year on our workmanship, in writing, plus the manufacturers’ warranties on fixtures, glass and tile.
