Flooring Questions

Which flooring is best for my home?

Solid hardwood suits most above-grade living spaces. Engineered wood handles humidity swings better. Luxury vinyl plank is a good choice for basements, kitchens and busy households. Porcelain tile is best for wet areas. We will recommend options room by room.

Can new flooring go over my old floor?

Sometimes. It depends on the existing floor’s condition, height changes at doorways and the new product’s requirements. We check flatness and moisture before deciding.

Do you prep the subfloor?

Yes. Squeaks, soft spots and uneven subfloors are fixed before new flooring goes down, because that is what makes the new floor last.
