What framing work do you do?

Can I remove a load-bearing wall?
Usually, with a properly sized beam and posts that carry the load to the foundation. Where the building department requires it, an engineer designs the beam and we include the drawings in the permit.
Do you frame to current energy code?
Yes. In Putnam and Westchester that means detailing exterior walls for the insulation and air-sealing the NY energy code requires.
Will framing be inspected?
Most permitted projects have a framing inspection before insulation and drywall. Your project manager schedules it.
