Whole-Home Remodeling in Purchase, NY

Westchester Whole-Home Remodeling Service Serving Purchase

Complete renovations for Purchase estates and family homes, prepared for Harrison’s Building Department and Architectural Board of Review.

Large Homes, Complete Plans

Purchase is a hamlet of large lots and substantial houses in the Town/Village of Harrison, with a history going back to the 1695 land purchase that gave it its name and an early Quaker community. Many homes here are big enough that renovating them room by room would take years.

A whole-home plan organizes the kitchen, primary suite, baths, systems and finishes into one design, one permit set and one schedule.

Because Harrison takes applications only in person or by mail, a complete, well-organized package matters. We assemble drawings, photos and forms so the file is not sent back for missing pieces.

Kitchens With Presence

This kitchen island, with a waterfall quartz edge, natural wood cabinets and a built-in beverage fridge, is a Guardian project. In larger Purchase homes the kitchen often anchors a family room, mudroom and pantry that are redesigned together.

We coordinate lighting, power and plumbing for the whole wing before any finish is chosen.

Purchase Whole-Home Remodeling FAQs

Which office handles permits for Purchase?

Purchase is a hamlet in the Town/Village of Harrison. The Harrison Building Department is at 1 Heineman Place (914-670-3050). It does not accept electronic submissions, so applications are filed in person or by mail, and incomplete applications are mailed back.

Will my renovation need Architectural Board of Review approval?

Harrison says most residential construction requires Architectural Board of Review approval. Interior alterations are reviewed and permitted by the Building Inspector, while exterior changes usually go to the Board.

Is a survey needed at the end of the project?

Harrison reserves the right to require a final as-built survey for additions, new accessory structures, walls and altered driveways. If a whole-home renovation includes any of those, we plan for it.

Does land disturbance change the review?

Yes. The Town says any new construction involving land disturbance needs approval from the Town Engineer, so grading or drainage work is reviewed separately.
